THE SNEAKER IS AT THE CENTRE OF THE OUTFIT
Since the sneaker is now a must-have of the Men outfit, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche pays tribute to it in a brand new and expanded space on the lower ground floor. In the centre of the Gymnasium it becomes home for mythical and exclusive sneakers, multiple new classic or bold models and to welcome events and pop-up stores. From May 10th to 31st, the new Sneakers space will host the very first tennis shoe, Spring Court's B2. In June, it'll be Le Coq Sportif's turn.
In order to get a unique pair, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche invites you to come and make your sneakers customized by Mad Lords and Atelier Notify. Let your creativity express itself and carry shoes like no others!
Mad Lords's artists customize shoes and accessories in leather and coated fabric from all brands and all styles. Tattoo a unique motif or message on your sneakers: Mad Lords creates shoes that fit your taste for a custom-made style.
Mad Lords advises you to take a white leather sneaker such as Clae's Bradley or the one of a kind Adidas's Stan Smith, but many different combinations are possible!

THE BEST KEPT SECRETS OF LE BON MARCHÉ RIVE GAUCHE'S SHOESHINE BOY
To take care of your just customized shoes and sneakers, the professional shoeshine men of Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche give your their best advice.
Keep them carefully!
"On a white pair of sneakers, seams are the first to darken. Since they are made of cotton, the action of time is often irrevocable but thanks to a mix of baking soda, a few drops of water and some elbow grease, they'll be whitened and rejuvenated."
"Living in a urban environnment, our shoe soles are often black striped. Periodically, rub out the soles with an eraser or some scouring cream: its microballs will slightly exfoliate the surface."
"To keep your sneakers clean and fresh, do not hesit to wash the insoles in machine. Textile shoes such as running sneakers will also appreciate to be machine-washed at 40°."
