INTERIOR TREND FOR THE NEW SEASON: AUTUMN PICNIC
Now that the summer holidays are over, we are starting to dream of autumnal weekends and pleasant moments of relaxation in the countryside, making the most of the season’s mild weather. Little by little, we are leaving the beach behind to really enjoy the tranquillity of nature, with its green, red and golden colours that calmly soothe us and fill our houses. From design pieces to small everyday objects, this season Le Bon Marché invites you to make room for interior decoration by creating an authentic atmosphere that is rich in raw materials and warm colours, in the style of long rustic autumn picnics.
For a warm living room which feels like autumn, the French brand MOISMONT has wool rugs with tartan geometric patterns, which add a graphic and cosy touch to interiors. KLAUS HAAPANIEMI has designed cushions with embroidery or wild animal prints, which are reminiscent of long walks in the forest. When it comes to seating, AP COLLECTION, a unique design studio, has reinvented iconic chairs from the 20th century in highly vintage styles covered with fluffy toys. We are really taken with the “Orange Slice” chair from the famous Pierre Paulin, which is upholstered with a herd of wild boar.
Tableware has also been inspired by this autumn trend, as seen in the creations from MARTINE GORON. Hand painted and fired using traditional methods, these plates look like they have come from an excellent second-hand fair. Exclusively for Le Bon Marché, this timeless designer has created a series of unique plates combining animals, flowers, and tartan and toile de Jouy patterns.

Versant Édition draws its inspiration from the space and vastness of the Pyrenees National Park.
