CHLOE is only available in store

Gabrielle Hanoka is born in Alexandria, Egypt, into a cosmopolitan family. In 1940, she marries her childhood friend, Raymond Aghion, and in 1945, the couple move to Paris.
in 1952, Gaby Aghion designs her first collection and the story of Chloé, one of the first luxury ready-to-wear houses, begins. An alternative to stiff formality of haute couture, Chloé offers en elegant and modern wardrobe with relaxed silhouettes in high quality fabrics and refined details.
Gaby Aghion organises Chloé’s first fashion show for the Spring-Summer 1958 collection at the renowned artist’s haunt, Café de Flore, which roots the House on the Left Bank as it was in the midst of a counter-cultural revolution.
Developping her artistic vision and entrusting a new generation of talents, Chloé displays a wardrobe made of essential pieces. These timeless garments establish an ongoing tension between the feminine and the masculine as the Chloé attitude.
The vision is carried forward by major stylists such as Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney or Phoebe Philo, followed by Hannah McGibbon and Clare Waight Keller, who contribute to a modernised brand image and artistic approach. In 2017, Natacha-Ramsay Levy was appointed artistic director of Chloé.

Chloé presents : the Chloé C

On December 1, Chloé introduces the Chloé C, an instant classic.

The newest timeless bag designed as an instant classic, the new Chloé C reflects the natural femininity and effortlessness at the heart of the Maison. Structured in shiny and suede calfskin, the bag is defined by a C signature crafted as a rounded piece of jewellery. With contemporary curves and a double strap, the Chloé C bag is imbued with allure and ease.

When Gaby Aghion decided to start the brand, she asked her best friend, Chloé Huysmans, if she could use her name, which she liked for the softness and femininity of its sound, and the roundness of its letters. Gaby wanted to create a collection for women who wanted to be free and naturally elegant. The Chloé C embodies this timeless elegance

This bag is an instant classic showcasing the maison codes and dna. His timeless format with unexpected twits complements the Chloé’s bag offer. His versatil shape and sophisticated aspect allow day to evening uses for an appealing style for many generations of Chloé girls.

This C is not a logo but a tribute to the Chloé name with this singular jewel signature, both soft and faceted, feminine and masculine. On all bag styles the C size is the same for a remarquable structure, character and a touch of vintage.
