VUARNET Men

Launched in 1957, Vuarnet is an iconic alpine sunglasses and clothing brand. It all began with an avant-gardist optician who loved skiing. His outstanding lenses were used to equip French Olympic skiers. Gold medal winner, Jean Vuarnet, then joined forces with him to establish this innovative brand. In 1969, the 06 model went down in history when it was worn by Alain Delon and Romy Schneider in the film La Piscine, and in 1974 the Glacier design ensured this French brand's legendary status. The brand then brought out ready-to-wear sportswear and more technical skiwear designs. Vuarnet used his expertise to create top-quality high-altitude garments, all made in France. These resistant pieces are "Tailored apparel for the cold, in the mountains as well as in the city." Under the guidance of new Artistic Director, Boramy Viguier, the Maison is now the go-to French brand when it comes to mountain clothing and accessories. His designs combine traditional French expertise with technological innovation for a range of designs that are modern, elegant and environmentally friendly.
