Roger Vivier continues to evolve with its Creative Director, Gherardo Felloni, who joined the Maison in March 2018. An aficionado of the arts and an eclectic collector – as was Monsieur Vivier – Felloni brings his artistic passion and unique flair for design into a Maison that appreciates visionary thinking.
It takes more than 20 steps and 40 pairs of hands to create a pair of Roger Vivier shoes, with each artisan possessing a different skill from the other. It is a time-consuming, intricately detailed and very technical process that only a few are privileged to see and even fewer are entitled to be a part of - these are the artisans of Roger Vivier.
For Fall/Winter 2019, Roger Vivier’s Creative Director Gherardo Felloni presents a diverse assortment of footwear that are made to fit the different personalities of the global Vivier woman. Discover the latest collection that brings the Maison’s exceptional craftsmanship, creativity and contemporary style into the new season.
THE MUST-HAVE BAG OF THE SEASON
The new Beau Vivier bag is the perfect fusion of Italian craftsmanship, clean and structured lines and luxurious materials – the Maison’s hallmarks of excellence. The buckle of the Beau Vivier pays homage to the inventiveness of Monsieur Vivier who, in the 60s, turned it around and completely changed its visual appeal.
JEWELS TO SHOES
Roger Vivier presents "Jewels to Shoes" a short film starring Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon and Hollywood actress AnnaSophia Robb. Inspired by Italian director Antonio Pietrangeli’s 1965 cult film “Io la conoscevo bene,” Creative Director Gherardo Felloni recreates the story of a young, aspiring actress who is chasing her dreams of stardom, producing a dramatically animated backdrop for the Fall/Winter 2019 collection.
