Self-portrait was launched by Han Chong in November 2013. Educated at Central Saint Martin’s in London, the Malaysian-born designer’s extraordinary talent has been showcased not just in the world of fashion but also visual art events such as the Venice Biennale in 2009 and the Munich Art Festival in 2013.
Combining tone and experimental textures, Chong designs garments with a refined femininity. In tune the realities of the modern lifestyle, function and utility also play a key role in his designs, taking the Self-portrait girl from work-to-play with ease and confidence.
