Katsurina's DNA can be summed up in a short phrase: respect for the environment. The young brand was launched in 2015 and is located in Kiev, Ukraine. It has made that phrase its trademark. The materials used are derived from fair trade, from one end of the production chain to the other, and more besides. The brand works with a reduced stock and uses existing fabric supplies to create new pieces. This approach is part of a different mindset: Katsurina is nothing to do with mass production. This attitude is above all that of its designer, Dasha Katsurina. The adventure began with the design of a down jacket, made from a duvet, given as a gift to her future husband. The eponymous brand's style is intended to be basic, timeless and easy to mix and match. The effort to avoid waste is omnipresent.
