French designer Marine Serre, winner of the LVMH Prize, founded her namesake brand in 2017. Marine Serre's design promotes a sharp cut and thorough eye for shape and colour, while the brand revolves around a set of ecofuturist values and ideas: hybridization, transformation, and a need for a new avant-garde, searching to experiment and find new ways to organize fashion's manufacturing and supply chains. The brand pioneers designing from end-of-life product for new garment production since the start of 2018, alongside recycled synthetics and yarns for jerseys and knitwear, cleverly mixing technical sportswear with tailoring or the French couture vocabulary.
