KARHU

Karhu was founded in 1916 but was then known as Ab Sport Artiklar. It was not until 1920 that they used the name Karhu (meaning ""Bear"" in Finnish) and the bear logo.
From the beginning, Karhu was specialised in the world of sports and made discs and javelins. In 1960, the brand changed its logo again, opting for an M (in reference to the Finnish word 'Mestrari', meaning champion) and launched its first trainers, two versions of the Trampas, a sporty one with the M logo, and one without the logo for more casual wear.
Karhu now creates all types of sports clothes and develops its shoes and other products with the head not the heart, always searching for better performance and an ever more optimal quality.
