Since 2023, Marie Adam-Leenaerdt has been creating original collections inspired by deconstruction. After having worked for some of the most famous couture houses, the designer created her eponymous brand with the aim of keeping Belgian heritage alive. Garments created by Marie Adam-Leenaerdt reflect her personal vision of fashion in which the lines remain very contemporary. The designer takes inspiration from her native country, its culture and its inhabitants. She completely reinvents everyday clothing. The cut plays a key role in this, with notes of derision. Loose, asymmetric and deconstructed shapes add surprise and create emotion. Oversized proportions allied with extremely sophisticated draping give the pieces a narrative dimension. The collections feature maxi trench coats, knitwear for tying, gathered cardigans, blazers with shoulder pads, asymmetric skirts and layered dresses.
