A British perfume brand founded in London in 1870, Penhaligon's make fragrances that are elegant and creative. Its founder, William Henry Penhaligon, was a barber from Cornwall. He took inspiration from the Turkish baths where he worked to create his first perfume, Hammam Bouquet, which made him famous among the English nobility. He also made Blenheim Bouquet one of the brand's iconic fragrances. And still today Penhaligon's creations are made in England, from luxurious raw materials. Each perfume is seen as an interpretation of British style. They offer a range of intense experiences and new olfactory horizons. The transparent flacons are adorned with the famous beribboned stopper. More than a simple fragrance, Penhaligon's perfumes are works of art. Enveloped in their legendary aura, each tells a story, be it from Greek mythology or a tale of the British aristocracy. This evocative power is particularly strong in the Portraits collection with its theatrical names such as The Revenge of Lady Blanche and Much Ado About the Duke Each perfume dedicated to a unique member of the English aristocracy, this collection comes in bottles topped with a golden animal head.
