Officially launched in January 2021, the Ashlyn label offers radical women's fashion with an appealing pragmatism. Its garments are intended to be of such quality that they can be worn for many years. Its Korean founder, Ashlynn Park, originally from Seoul, has set up her studio in the heart of Manhattan. She is influenced as much by the art of French draping as by Japanese expertise in cuts and details. She was one of the eight finalistst for the LVMH prize in 2022, an accolade that followed her entry into the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. With its understated, structured silhouettes, the Ashlyn wardrobe is characterized by its contemporary design. Raw colors with graphic accents make every piece a highlight. When it comes to its ethical credentials, the brand made a splash with the Dillan shirt dress. This iconic piece is made from a single piece of draped fabric. The label favors natural fabrics, always with an eye on preserving the environment.
