SESSUN Women

Since its launch in 1996, Sessùn has become known for its sustainable approach through the quality of its materials and the importance of savoir-faire for pieces aimed at inspired, emancipated women. The brand was founded by Emma François and designs singular pieces, dressing women in garments that provide a new take on classic staples. What's more, the brand focusses on the use of organic fair trade fibres and yarns. Sessùn's popularity is down to the subtlety of its designs which play with volumes and textures. Emma François draws inspiration from her encounters, travels (notably in Japan) as well from daily life. Her garments, including Sessùn's dresses and famous coats, stand out thanks to an attention to detail: tones, cuts, motifs, prints, shapes - nothing is left to chance. Each piece evokes a memory, an outing, an image. Sessùn is a world apart; a heightened creativity and ingenuity all in women's favor. Mediterranean colors abound, flowing cuts are beautifully tailored to enhance the silhouette and volumes are magnified by the use of gathers and pleats.
